Joe Barnholt is a Denver and Austin based comedian, actor and writer who performs a mix of traditional stand up and musical comedy. He brings a unique sound and style to any comedy show with his guitar, his positivity and his signature Buddy Holly Signature glasses. Before comedy, Joe was (and still is) part of the band Rocket Surgeons, who have a song on Spotify with over 2 million plays, a viral video about eating vegetables, and an appearance at the world famous Red Rocks Amphitheater. He has also collaborated on comedy sports videos with YouTube creator Brandon Perna, aka That's Good Sports.
Joe believes strongly in supporting community causes using art and entertainment. While he is not in recovery himself, he is a volunteer with Second Chance Comedy - a comedy show that raises awareness around addiction, provides a space for healing, and offers sober fun for people in recovery. His band is also a proud partner of Youth On Record (previously Flobots.org), an organization that supports artistic pursuits for young artists in the Denver area.
